Hello Hello!! I have been real busy these past few days, hence the lack of updates.

Last week was one major hetic week with yours truely struggling to get a good sleep but to no avail.

Monday

Went to school for an orientation briefing and collection of our orientation shirt which came in the ugliest colour I could ever imagine. It was a complete waste of time by the way.

Tuesday

!st day of orientation, met the group of freshies I was gonna be with for the next three days. They were ultra quiet, making us feel like idiots just cheering in front of them, but I don't blame them, as they were just a replica of me during my orientation last year. The last activity for the day was a tour around the campus which was ultra tiring, not forgetting the scorching sun that made be bleed with buckets of perspiraton. Evening came, and I met Majo and Tat for a sumptous meal at Spizza.

Wednesday

2nd day of orientation, we played games after games, which was freakin retarded, nonetheless, it turn out to be more fun than the 1st day. Headed to Island Cremary after orientation for some refreshing Ice-cream, I tried the teh-tarik flavour and it was real good!

Thursday

3rd day of orientation, the whole day was spend at the convention centre, watching performance after performance. I couldn't stop laughing at how funny this guy was, with his sacarsm and actions all, it was just totally hilarious. The pagent was such a bore, and the contestents answers appeared as though they were mentally challenged or something, it was just SO wrong.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday

It was back to work for me, though I was really tired, but the feeling of money coming in is just awesome! After work on Sunday night, I met up with Tat and Mel for dinner at Fish & Co, I had a really good time yesterday night.

OMG! school has started and I pon the first day, I'm still in the holiday mood, (and forever will be)

Without her, I would have stone all the way during the 3 days of orientation =)

Note to Self: Next long holiday would be on 18th June

Three things that made me a happy girl today:

1. I finally found the ladyfinger's biscuit..I was getting worried as it had been out of stock for the past 4 days at every supermaket. So mel, sharon and I can FINALLY make our tiramisu tomorrow =)

2. My Triple Chocolate Crunch has also arrived, I have been waiting for it since last November, and I was delighted at the number of boxes displayed on the shelves of Marks and Spencers. I'm sooo gonna have it for breakfast every morning. YIPPE! Hopefully this time, it doesn't run out as fast as the previous batch did, and even if it does, they would replenish it asap.

3. Sherry passed her supp papers. HAHAHAHA! She send a msg giving 3 cheers to herself -.-

Haizzzzz I miss those Japanese cream puffs from Osaka.........I think my dad would probably take another 469836543056 yrs before he buy's it again. Someone should just do a franchise in Singapore and my cravings would be satisfied.

Today I need not go to work, I put myself on schedule but they did not put me down, so I went out with Debbie. Sherry was suppose to come along but couldn't make it the last minute. We went to marina for lunch and watch Mr Bean after that. That show is so bloody hilarious!!! Okay, at least I din't spent my $8 in vain. I think this could be one of the easiest film he has ever done, cause he hardly spoke a word, and when he did, it sounded more like a mumble. So after that, we headed to epicentre at Suntect so I could check my ipod valuation and how much I would have to top up in order to trade in for the 2nd generation 4GB...such a dissapointment..I got to top up around $260 just to trade it. So if we do the math, anybody will know that its not worth it. I think i'll just stick to purchasing the skins, i need to cover up those scratches at the back desperately.

On our way, we met this "con" ? "mad"? lady who approach us and took a moment to explain to us how she lost her wallet, leaving her with no money and without an E-Zlink card....how she had to fetch her daughter from the kindergarden at Jurong West and asked if we could give her some money to cab down to fetch her daughter...oh my! Unfortunately, she had approach the wrong pair, we just played around with what she said and question her, and in between, she sort of repeated her story again, so finally, we gave her two alternatives, either to call the police and make a report or take the cab down to the kindergarden and ask the teachers to pay for it first after explaining her situation. u should just see her facial expression, she was obviously stunn! Like hello!!! Do we look like kids to you or something?! We are not dumb you know, if you wanna cheat, go look for someone else. Oh! Am I suppose to wish you good luck or something? After we left, I turned back and saw her approaching another stranger. -.-

Following that, Miss Wong just had to persuade me to try the mudpie at NYDC, well.....it was so sinful, thick layers of ice-cream plus a tiramisu base is definately the source of guilt. I'm like paying to put on weight la. Tomorrow I'm off to Mel's house for some baking with Sharon too, just hope that everything would turn out yummy!

I just found out my baby N76 is coming out on April 14th =)))

If a customer I met today was my neighbour, this would be my letter of appreciation for her:

Dear Customer,

Remember me? I'm the girl who served you and gave you the unhappy expression when you threw a sudden bomb attack at me. Well, let me do a little recap over here alright. You handed me your order sheet which states that you wanted two set lunches and two main course. Given the fact that there were only 2 of you seated at the table, I was concerned with the amount you ordered and procceded to ask you whether there would be a total of 4 people dining, in which you replied without hesitation an assuring "Yes". So I took your word for it and began to process your orders. While you were indulging in your set lunch, I kindly passed you the bill folder and told you to double check your orders. That's when you pointed out that the two main course was not ordered by you but you remembered there were two nos. under the ala carte column that was not written by you on your order sheet. And by the time you told me about it, all the dishes were ready to be served. During the whole time you were there, it was only you and your friend dining, so what happen to your 2 imaginary friends? Did you know how much that would have cost me if my manager was not willing to void the order? Did you think it was fair for me to pay for a mistake which you made? I don't think so.
Well lady, I ought to give you a little lecture here, these are the 3 ways you could have prevented yours truely from being annoyed by your stupid mistake.

1. You could have cancelled the nos. on the order sheet and still place your order on the same sheet of paper.
2. You could have kindly told me that the orders under the ala carte column was not written by you and I would have gladly cancelled it.
3. You could have used a new order sheet instead, since there was a stacked of them placed on your table.
4. Please make it a point to dig you ears and listen carefully.

Until then, please do not make history repeats itself and try okay? Just TRY to be more thoughtfu and attentivel or better still, just do a take-away.

From,
The annoyed sweet waitress

P.S Whoever said "Customers are always right" deserves to be shot in the head!

My tolerance level was running low

This is a list of 10 things I have to acknowldge:

1. I hate the phrase "excuse me", because it is often followed by a request after that.

2. I hate demanding customers.

3. I hate attending to customers request, especially if it comes one after another all at the same time.

4. Area C in cartel is Cursed with problematic customers and endless demands.

5. A majority of Singaporeans love to leave the restaurant with a mess on their table, so humble souls like us would find pleasure in cleaning up after them.

6. I hate it when customers seek your attention when it's freakin obvious that your busy and your hands are literally full with objects.

7. I can't stand it when customers use their chinese accented english to speak. "Ni hao ma?" "Wo yi dian ye bu hao!"

8. I love it when it's bill time

9. I love it when customers leave the restaurant

10. My tolerance level is not that high after all

So the above sums up what work was like today. Gosh!! these customers are out to take my life.SERIOUSLY
Tat and mel just left my house, these wierd pair just decided to pop by all of a sudden and entertain me while im watching the television -.-.......

To Mel and Tat
P.S Do drop by anytime k, cause my door would only be locked from the inside.

and I still love them as always =)

Yesterday night was spend with the 5 darlings, we headed to Newton hawker centre for dinner. We ordered stingray, crab and tiger prawns and the bill came up to a whopping 152 bucks. Well, bulk of the total bill went towards the 5 tiger prawns which cost a freakin 80 bucks! Wth la, its not as though the prawns were gold plated or something. That was such a total rip off seriously. Okay I know everyone's trying to make a living here, but can't they at least make an honest living?! We should have just complained like how PY suggested, but I guess it's too late now. On a lighter note, I enjoyed the company. PY was being her funny self as usual, when Cheok told us about how good looking the plastic surgeons at SGH were, PY said they probably operated on themselves.HAHAHAHA! Than she told us how this girl from her school had pronounced the "no" in Chanel no.5 literally as "no" instead of "number".HAHAHAHHA!! There's was another guy who also pronounced Czech Republic as C Z Republic. HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I had my fair share of wierd pronounciations too, at work ytd, this customer pronounced "pepper" as "peppurrr", so she was like "Excuse me, may I have some peppurrrrr pls"? As though she was a cat or something. Can you imagine if some cheeky fella were to reply "Sure Meowwwwwwww", that guy is soooo gonna get 2 thumbs up from me man! Okay, I know im being mean here, but when there's something good to share, the world deserves to hear it, so there you go people!!! After dinner, cheok, mel, py and I headed to Shaw plaza to watch Pathfinder..it wasn't that fantastic though, just the usual gore bloody violence accompanied by visual effects, Mel was sooo excited and I think disgusted? Cause there were lots of brutal killings going on, but somehow, it just didn't work for me though.

After work, I headed down to the MRT station and I was reading this Investment Fund advert when someone poked me on my right arm, I turned and guess what?? It was Willi!! My gossiping partner from Cartel. He was on his way to Orchard to look for a job. He requested for a transfer back to the PS outlet, but was rejected =(, but there's still a chance he may come back though. And damn it la, his pay has risen to $6. I think i'll probably take another 59864354395 yrs for my pay to rise again.Actually, come to think of it, the way I got to know Willi was super wierd. All I remembered was he came into Cartel and I walked towards him cause he look kinda familiar and started fiddling with his keychain because it looked rather interesting and we started to talk quite abit. I don't remember getting to know him before that, not even his name! HAHAHAHAHAHA..okay so if I walked up to you one day and start talking to you as though I've known you for ages, pls do not think I'm mad. Soon after, we started to engage in endless gossips about our co-workers and laughed all the way about their stupid antics. My early days in Cartel were super duper fun unlike now though. While I was having my dinner, there was this advert on TV about the harm cause by smoking, and the whole advertisement from beginning to end was just revolting, coupled by the fact that I was having my dinner at the same time. It was totally disgusting, with the mouth filled with patches of who knows what, and the inside stained with the worst colour combination anyone could come up with la. Totally horrible, I hope this would be the first and the last time im seeing this advert. Even if it's not the last, they should at least have the basic courtesy to avoid showing it during that time slot when everyone's trying to have a decent meal. Moreover, I don't think anyone would be encouraged to quit smoking after that, they would only be encouraged to avoid that advertisement at all cost or maybe smoke even more to relieve that traumatising advertisement.

I went to school today for some orientation meet-up session, but my main reason was to select my year 2 timetable with my classmates. I hate the timetable selection really, it just splits the class up in all directions. So finally, after an intense and stress- out moment of fear and excitement, gwen, sharon, mel and I remaind in the same class =))), but the guys were scattered to all the other different classes. Whats's worse? Cheng Hui, our class hero is left without a class. Just hope his appeal gets through. It has only been a month, but keon came in to greet us with bruises on his face and hands, all thanks to a freak accident. Poor thing, for someone who cares SO much about his image that when someone is talking to him, he can actually stand up to arrange his hair in the mirror just directly opposite him. -.- Following that, we headed to Island Creamery for some cooling session with the ice-cream, as much as I kinda like the array of unique flavours there, I can't help but comment how messy that whole place is. It's messed-up setting makes the shop look even smaller. Everything is just poured all over the tiny shop, from the pictures to the "menue" (they don't have a proper menue btw, which i think they should or else new customers would be clueless as to what exactly the shop has to offer). But if what is written on their walls and boards is all they got to offer, than they seriously need to come up with more variety to sustain its business.

Okay Mel and Sharon's old time pictures prompted me to do the same too, ho boy what a drastic change!

In the past...(2002-2005)

This was in Sec 2, just goofing around.........

Ten..Teh...Tng

The original clique During National Day celebrations................

Our current self......(2006 onwards)

My original Self?.........

Those were the days, when we had all the fun with nothing to worry about apart from exams. My best moments were during Sec 1 and Sec 2, when Tat,Mel,Cheok,Lynette,Andrea,Maj,Claire,Rozanna, Pei Yee and I met and became a clique, we did all the stupid stuff together, took endless pictures and majella even wrote up a pact for each of us, that is to meet at CHIJMES at the age of 19 on the first Sunday of March 2008 at 12pm. The pact is still in my keepsake box, and I really do hope that everyone would turn up on that day. I still remembered the two birthday suprises you guys gave me, especially the one which your tricked me to come to school real early the morning, it was truely the best birthday gift I could ever receive from the most wonderful bunch of girls.

Im Full

Guess what peeps! While you all were at home sleeping, I was at work watching some crap drama unfold before my very eyes. haha. okay basically something happen in the morning at work that resulted in some people being pissed and another just walking out when she was suppose to do full shift. Sighs...what to do? That's life la, just accept it. Anyway, I got home after work and prepared for dinner with the aunts, uncles and cousins. We went to a western restaurant known as West End or is it Hula something..im not sure though, all I remembered was the food, cause the "vegetarian dad" double ordered a total of 6 different appetizers, 3 of which were chicken chef SALAD, mango SALAD and ceaser SALAD (my favourite)...oh and we had mussles drench in delicious cream sauce. YUMMY!! For the main course, I shared with my sis the fish and chips and Aglio Oglio, the prawns in it were ultra fresh, and thankfully, the linguine wasn't too dry, but well soaked in the olive oil and garlic. Overall, I had a great time under a pleasent ambience and good entertainment from my sister too (AHEM!) cherry blossoms..hahahahahahahahaha.

I miss my best friend, hang in there nana!! the bangala is on his way

My entire day is filed with work today. Actually I like Saturday mornings, the work flow is rather stagnent, there was not much to do so i hopped over to the cashier area to talk to Jac and reminded her about the self select class timetable thingy, she's totally clueless about school stuff now, cause she does not even check her mail and works full shift almost everyday!! My supervisor asked me to work till night, but I repeatedly refuse, and he repeatedly beg and beg and beg, and as he begged, he kept leaning closer and closer, so I had to lean backward lower and lower (my back damn pain la), cause his breath stinks. It was a tormenting moment to endure, but guess what?? I SURVIVE!! It's so frusfrating everytime they ask me to extend extend extend, and my reply would always be "If I wanted to work, I would have scheduled myself alr."There was another time when William ask in a different way, he started off with "Would you like to earn more money"? so I got his cue and immediately replied "not interested". Haiz..why can't they just stop their nonsense. On a lighter note, I met a hot guy, a caucasian...it so happened that I got to serve his drink, and when I looked up after placing the drink on the table, I saw an angel...a good looking, suave...and when he said "thank you", he was charminggggg, and I was floatinggggg. Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. There was like a health event outside ps and this lady from project superstar was singing..very noisy indeed, town is like so packed every Sat, you can see wierdos walkng around, guys with funny dress sense loitering at corners, very cheena loooking group of boys and girls in groups spouting all that chinese words and adults taking their time to walk from one end to the other, people on the streets asking for donations and surveyors asking around to help them fill up some job survey ( stupid stuff, I got approach many times before, and a few days later, they'll call and tell u "CONGRATULATIONS you have been selected to blah blah blah......total crap la.) If jobs are so easy to find, money will drop from the sky. Okay im off to watch my Supernatural DVD which I borrowed recently, a very nice and scary drama, it is even better than those lame horror movies in cinema's. Toodles peeps!

I woke up real late today, just in time for breakfast and headed down to NSC for my treatment. Stupid virus, can't you just seek comfort in someone else's body?! Anyway, Debbie accompanied me, we were suppose to catch a movie but that plan had to be shelf due to time constraint. So we just had lunch at Square 2 and went to timezone for some arcade games!! Gosh, its been a while since I played those kiddy stuff, and that place is soo not cheap, we blasted 10 bucks on about 6 games. There was these game which required us to throw the basketball into the net, and thanks to my strength, I threw the ball so hard that it went behind the machine, goodness!! I couldn't stop laughing at my stupid action, we only had the remaining 3 balls to complete the damn game. Stupid la seriously. Following that, we just walk and walked and walked...for the record, we walk from NSC to Square 2 to Novena Square to Velocity and finally, to United Square. We practically covered all 4 shopping malls at one go. Well, I must say that having 4 shopping malls around my area is just beneficial. If only they could bring in Topshop, Zara, Dorethy Perkins etc..plus a cinema, travelling to town would be just a thing of the past. Following that, I headed back home and went out again for dinner at Robertson with my family. I love looking at the dogs whenever their owner's take them for a walk, they are so adorable and gorgeous, very well groomed indeed. Sigh..if only I could own a dog..but than again, I think a cow would be better, just don't expect any beef from it man! Miss Tng considers it as illegal.

I had a run-away bill at work today, it sucks big time, all thanks to customers who have such a wonderful memory to NOT settle the bill before they leave...as usual, the bill had to be spilt equally between my colleague and I, and there you have it, $40 just flew out of my pocket and into the cash register. My other colleague also saw her money unwillingly travel out of her wallet when she took the wrong order. It's not her fault though, apparently the customer ate HALF-WAY and realised he was eating the wrong dish. Seriously, I don't know what's wrong with these people really, either they order something and claim they did not order it or they forgot what they ordered. Im just speechless...........................

KILL THESE PEOPLE...MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
okay tng stop these nonsenses now
FINE!

Work was B.O.R.I.N.G as usual, talking about it is as good as talking about shit, which would always remain brown and stinky
Anyway,I got back my results just morning, it was nerve wrecking pls, I couldn't even sleep the whole night, my eyes were close, but I was super alert. Well, Im glad I made an improvement from previous sem, but the GPA is still not enough to get me to a local Uni. Which means I have to push myself even harder for year 2. Damn it! Studying is awfully tiring and undesirable to me.
When I receive the SMS from NP jus morning regarding my results, I opened it and went to the message menue and proceeded to press "edit", hahahahaha following that, I change the C which I had for macro to a B, than I look at the overall results and told myself "Wow, this is so beautiful baby"!! Than I change it back to a C again and I heard a voice telling me "Well thats reality honey"! The stupid C grade spoilt everythig la, this is super crap i know, but no harm entertaining myself once in a while. =))

Congrats to mel, sharon and cheng hui

Mel: Aim for 4 in yr 2 k

Sharon: Don't be too ambitious okay....MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Cheng Hui: Give me yr brains la or i'l send bangala to chase u

Today was such a boring day. Okay I was not expecting much from work anyway,
Im not sure whether its just the job scope or the time I have spend there as an employee.
Time passes real fast, I have been working at cartel for 1 year and 36 days already,
I still remember my 1st day at work, being nervous as hell, I walked towards the entrance and
spoke to Ian the reason for my appearence and headed to change into their uniform. After a short brienfing by Rico,
I began work and Chee Meng was the first staff there to talk to me. Soon, Debbie and Sherry hopped on and
together, we became infamous for being noisy and mad. It was so much fun during those days, but its all over now,
as the time has come to step back and let the new-comers take over. But somehow, I can't help but comment that certain or perheaps a handful of the new staff seems.... mentally unsound. When Sherry fills me in with all the latest gossips, my finger would naturally go up to the side of my head and start moving in a twirling motion, like how u describe someone as mad.
Well, to sum it up, they just do not have that maturity level to view certain issues. However, the upside is they provide pure entertainment as well as a dose of comedic relief. Stupid it may be, but entertaining I must say.
I already said from the start that working at Cartel was an eye-opener, and till this day, I stay firm with my statement.

10 hours more to my exam results.....

Lets just refresh our mathematical abilities alright =)

(Waiting + Dreading) x 2 = What the heck?! Just give me my results and get it over and done with

Good Luck TB03 and everyone who's receiving their results.

I love Monday nights!

Firstly, $%$^$%^$%^%$
WHY WHY WHY! did Amber and Rob have to be eliminated from the
Amazing Race?! This totally sucks, they have been the only team I was rooting for in
this All-Stars season, and now that their gone, half my enthusiasm to catch this show faithfully has faded,
and worst of all, of all the teams available, they had to be defeated by Charla and Mirina.
I can't stand that team, they are irritating. Amber lied, but she lied well, they saw through her lie but who cares la, its just part of the game. I like what Amber said at the end of the race, "It is great to end this race at the end of the world." ( the final pit stop of the leg was at the southernmost tip of South America) KUDOS to Rob and Amber!!!
Next up on my TV list was Desperate Housewifes, that show never fails to make me laugh, especially in tonights episode, when the baby was finally born and it turned out to be a very dark skin baby, to the point where they found out the reason why, omg, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! It was just hilarious.
After my daily does of desperate housewifes, it was time for Nip/Tuck, it was the SEASON FINALE!! and as usual, it was awesome and mindblowing. The carver commited incest with his sister whom he collaborated with to dampen the innocent lifes of people, okay, like WOAH! I wonder what could Season 5 whip up, Great story, great acting, Gret plot, and great casting, this show is soooooo gonna last for eternity, just like 7th Heaven, speaking of which, I manage to catch it on Sunday and I realised Ruth's character in the show grew up, time flies..really, before u know it, its already my 18th birthday on 15th May..MUAHAHAHAHA!! shameless publicity i know, but please do not forget to note that down.
Im such a TV junk i know, blame it on Ch5 for putting all the good shows on Monday night's primetime slots, its addictive and im a sucker for it. Oh and not forgetting, "I shouldn be Alive" on discovery channel is another great show that everyone should catch, but damn! it clashes with Desperate Housewifes, which means, I got to catch the repeat telecast on Saturday night, Yep its a long wait, but worth the anticipation.

Please check out this hottie

Seriously, what could be better than seeing him prance around in Desperate Housewifes Shirtless?
P.S He has a hot bot WOOT!!
HATE IT!
its a freaking irritant that disrupts your breathing, and kills your appetite.
hahaha Sharon is down with it too, no wonder we're husband and wife =)
Went to visit my grandmother with my sis just afternoon,
slept awhile and watch some show on MTV about model wannabe's,
following that, headed to the bus interchange and chance upon this lame advertisment
that offered free ride to women if they happen to step on a bus that has a
sanitary pad advert printed on it...didn't sound the least bit interesting to
me though. Why don't they just do a condom print advert on buses so
both women and men can board the bus for free?!
I'm sure this idea would work so much better and prevent any
thoughts of gender discrimination at the same time.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! I love the background of this blog, all thanks to stacey dear, this blog is born. I had the intention of setting up this blog by myself, but reading those step by step instructions were torturing and complicated, and stacey actually said it was easy! what the heck! THANKS STACE!!!!!!!

Today was a blast,
woke up after 8 hours of beauty sleep, while my sister was still in bed like a pig (even though she slept earlier than me), and proceeded to watch "Take the Lead", which my sis borrowed. the story line was kinda boring, but the dance moves were slick and awesome. It was based on a true story. Following that, I met Mel and cheok at grand cathy to watch "300", as usual, i was late! I don't know why, but no matter how hard I try, this thing called "punctuality" just does't exist in my world. Sorry girls, I'll TRY to be early on our next meeting,( If that's even possible). The show was alright, although we just chose it without the slightest clue of its contents, it turned out to be quite a movie, some parts were rather RA, yeh yeh i know its M18, what else to expect right? there was like blood and gore throughout the entire screening and the CGI animation was perfect, I love the part where the soldier's head was cut off, and the body drop to its knees and to the ground in slow motion...i personally felt that the scene was like WOAH!
We met tat after the movie and headed to Spizza at Bukit Timah for dinner, the food was not bad, and the pizza's recommended by tat were not to my liking, cause its was like either freaking salty, or.....anti-tng. the beef lasagne was good though. For dessert, we went to Wafflestown and that's where our gossip session began, the whole conversation was just hilarous. I shall not elaborate on the content of our gossips to prevent inviting any unnecessary trouble..hahaahahaha anyways, thanks girls!!! I had sooooooo much fun, laughter and joy. Looking forward to out next meeting soon!!!
